A PULSO DANCE PROJECT

A Pulso Dance Project is a dance collective created in 2019 whose mission is to foster spaces for the development of art, to share emotions and to connect with each other as a society. To this date, A Pulso has premiered more than 10 original pieces and performed in several renowned festivals. A Pulso is composed of a permanent cast of dancers, and purposely invites guest artists in each artistic production to develop healthy relationships between different communities of dancers. As artists, we create movements with messages and social content, based on our strong belief that dance is a powerful mechanism of social transformation. We believe in aesthetics used in favor of social justice aiming at provoking an instinctive and visceral response. As a company, we also believe in collaborative creative processes where all dancers are allowed to contribute from their personal standpoints, emotions, and reflections.
